Ages 4 to 12 years

We have fun camps for pre-school/pre-k and school-age kids running from May through August. With all that our centers have planned a summer spent at Academy of Learning is sure to be an enriching, fun, and memorable one for your child!

 

Some brief examples of Center Programs

 

We  have something planned every day such as water day every Wednesday, Father's Day snack  and  "Scary Day". We have created a bird area outside, and a Mud Day is coming soon!! Creation Day is every Monday where we do arts and crafts, plus many sports events where the two older groups will compete for the majority of the summer,   Each year we pass out a summer schedule to parents with the whole summer planned ahead of time.

                                    

June is nature month

Weekly themes are: Gardens, Fathers & Flags, Camping, Patriots, Pioneers, Picnics & Parades

July themes are: Fun in the Sun, Beaches, Ocean Life, Tropical Islands, & Pirates.

August is Back to School.

 

                                 

Field trips galore! - movies, ice skating, swimming pool, miniature golf, bowling, and parks - water days, popsicles and hours of crafts.

 

                                 

Together with our experienced teachers, your child will plant and tend vegetables, make compost, create garden-related crafts, and (after clean up!) prepare tasty veggie treats.
